Halloween at City Hall The North Branch Police Department will hold its annual Tricks and Treats event Saturday, Oct. 31, 5-8 p.m. at City Hall. Enter through the east parking lot door. Halloween program at NB Library Kids, ages 5-8 are invited to a Halloween program Friday, Oct. 30, 4 - 5 p.m. at the NB library. It will be an hour of reading, games, crafts and a snack. Reservations are required. Stop by the library to register. Kids may come in costume. NB fire dept to hold haunted house, hay ride The North Branch Fire Department will hold its second annual Haunted House and Hay Ride, Oct. 29-31 at the North Branch Fire Hall. Bon fire and snack, too. Starts at dusk. Cost is $7, $6 with a non-perishable food item. Halloween Bash Abundant Life Church is hosting a Kids Halloween Bash, Saturday, Oct. 31, 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. for children 6th-grade and under. Inflatable games, a maze, candy, games, prizes and more Food will be available for a nominal fee. Abundant Life Church is located approximately one mile west of the freeway on Hwy. 95. Halloween dance party There will be a Halloween Dance and Costume Party for kids 13 and older Saturday, Oct. 31, at the Chisago City Community Center, 7-10 p.m. Admission is $4, $3 if you bring a food shelf item, and pop will be available for 50 cents. Sponsored by Family Pathways Youth Department. Halloween party at The Villages The third annual Villages of North Branch Children’s Halloween Party will be Wednesday, Oct. 28, 5:30 to 7 p.m. at The Villages of North Branch, 5379 383rd Street (behind North Branch Outlet- park next to the 3-story building) The senior residents at The Villages of North Branch are looking forward to this fun evening which will include complimentary Trick-or-Treat items for the first 300 children ages 10 and under. There will be several treat and trinket stations for the kids to visit along the special Halloween path. Don’t forget your camera.
