UNAPPROVED MINUTES OF REGULAR SCHOOL BOARD MEETING INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT #139 April 17, 2008 The Regular School Board Meeting was called to order by Chairperson Tryon at 7:00 p.m. in Room 201 at Rush City High School. Roll Call Board Members present: Scott Tryon, Gwen Goretsas, Scott Friday, Carol Cook, Brian Anderson, and Stefanie Folkema. Board members absent: None. Others in attendance: Vern Koepp, Superintendent; Laureen Frost, Business Manager; Mark Saari, High School Principal; Melody Tenhoff, Elementary Principal; Julie Thom, Family Center Coordinator; representatives from the Post Review and the STAR, and other interested persons. Approval of Regular School Board Meeting Agenda Motion #04108 by Goretsas seconded by Cook approving the Regular Board Meeting agenda with the following addition: V.-New Business-H.-Copy Machines. Motion unanimously carried. Approval of Regular School Board Minutes Motion #04208 by Cook seconded by Friday approving the minutes of the Regular Board Meeting of March 20, 2008. Financial Information Following the Business Manager's review and the Superintendent's certification, Motion #04408 by Goretsas seconded by Cook approving the payment of invoices and obligations in the amount of $913,755.87. Motion unanimously carried. Investments: Business Manager Frost reported the district has $2,158,725 in investments as of March 31, 2008. Frost noted that this was a decrease from the previous month but that this was not uncommon for March investments. Revenue and Expenditure Budget: Business Manager Frost reviewed the 2007-08 Revenue and Expenditure Budget
